The comprehensive, lasting record of how our best-loved buildings look today.

Located at the end of the Pantiles, the old Union Square site is being redeveloped by Dandara. The development will include  one, two and three-bedroom luxury apartments and two-bedroom mews houses.

Starting in mid-October 2018, The Tunbridge Wells Project will be photographing all stages of the development over a two-year period. Currently (September 2018), the first gallery of images shows the site which stands empty – other than the electricity substation that was built beneath Union House. This will be demolished once the new substation is connected to the national grid.

Furthermore, the steel girders that currently support the original walls of Union House where there is a two story drop between Eridge Road and the empty site will be removed once the new development is built flush to these existing walls, thus preventing any form of subsidence.
